Information we collect

Mailing list

If you join our mailing list we collect your name and email address so we can send updates about our films, including Dynamite. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us. We use a reputable email service provider to store the list and send emails on our behalf; they process the data only on our instructions.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you.

Website data

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you press play; once you do, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

Sharing your data

We do not pass your data to third parties except the service providers described above, or where required by law.

Keeping your data secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data. No method of online transmission is completely secure, but we will act promptly if a problem arises.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing info@mercianfilms.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
